The volume turns in a spiral architectural gesture

generating protected terraces and creating its own

unique view for each apartment

Our CDRS residential tower project in Bucharest won the invited international competition organised by Forty Management in 2020 and is now advancing to the urban authorisation and building permit phase. We are looking forward to work with the Bucharest City Hall team that received our project with great enthusiasm

Situated on an exclusive 3000 sqm site, in central Bucharest, the CDRS Tower will be one of the highest residential buildings in Eastern Europe and has strong environnemental ambitions.  The location is exceptional between two lakes and overlooking the center of the city and its main park. The neighbourhood gathers a unique collection of cultural and artistic landmarks with The Minovici Villa – a Popular Art Museum, The Romanian Western Old Art Museum or the Royal Railway Station a monument of architecture itself.

The CDRS development will join this exclusive context and will complete it with an innovative architecture, a cutting edge structural and technical solutions, an exemplary environmental approach and a public art gallery that will support emerging artists in ground floor.

The commitment to invest in the neighbourhood will lead to the development of the entire area towards a new artistic hub for Bucharest: a new museum for architecture, an open air sculpture museum, artist ateliers, pop up pavilions, a new space for children art school and an art gallery will join the two museums already present in the area.

The new development will offer 34 apartments in a diversity of configurations: from affordable 2 bedrooms apartments to two-floors penthouses.

Nous créons un centre ! Pour tous ! C’est une « insertion urbaine », mais aussi une « insertion sociale »

The architectural concept centers on enhancing the architectural quality of the space: unique views, space height, sunlight, materials, energy autonomy or confort connected technology.

The volume turns in a spiral architectural gesture generating protected terraces and creating its own unique view for each apartment. This out of the box geometric approach allows each room from every suite to have a 270° view with generous terraces all around in order to best enjoy them.

The ground floor will host the reception zone, the art gallery, working and meeting spaces, the bar, a residents drawing room and a residents library, as well as an semi-olympic pool in the underground, a music studio, a wine and cigar tasting area and a fitness room.

The public art gallery opens towards the exterior and can extend in the art garden for big artistic events.

The CDRS tower will be also an autonomous energetically passive building with positive energy production. Its entire facade will be made from a mix of black composite stone and photovoltaic facade-panels which in combination with geothermal systems and an external generous thermal insulation will render our project as one of the most sustainable developments in Romania
